Following the successful demonstration of its habitat solutions, Petrohab LLC now has a local subsidiary, named Petrohab™ Oil & Gas Serviços, Ltd., with whom STEP Oil & Gas is happy to announce a partnership. This partnership allows STEP Oil & Gas to provide superior modular Hot-Work Safety Enclosures (HSE) and services on any ongoing and future operations.

Petrohab’s unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and service, its efforts to consistently exceed customers’ HSE needs and its approach towards rigorous training standards are aligned with the best practices and personnel policies of STEP Oil & Gas.

The pressurized welding isolation chamber, often referred to as a habitat or Hot-Work Safety Enclosure (“HSE”), is used to manage and control risks associated with performing Hot-Work operations in potentially hazardous areas, often required during Step Oil & Gas offshore tasks.

Brasil Offshore 2017 and what follows

Successful presence of STEP Oil & Gas 

STEP Oil & Gas was present at Brasil Offshore once again, in what came out to be a very interesting and successful event. Our stand registered a very good turnout of visitors where we were able to present our new facilities, a revised and extended range of services, as well as giving evidence of our work philosophy and the growth the company has experienced in the last 2 years.

STEP Oil & Gas at Brasil Offshore 2017

STEP Oil & Gas will be present, once again, at 'Brasil Offshore', the largest Oil & Gas trade show in Brazil and a reference within the global industry. The ninth edition of Brasil Offshore will take place in Bacia do Campos, in Macaé, between the 20th and 23rd of June and the organization expects 52 thousand qualified buyers.

This time, STEP Oil & Gas will be presenting its new facilities, a revised and extended range of services, as well as giving evidence of the growth the company has experienced in the last 2 years. The company aims to boost its business whilst being recognized as a quality reference in the industry.

With the new facilities and improved working conditions, STEP Oil & Gas is now available to offer additional services, such as internal polyethylene lining (provided in-house) and 3D scanning, in partnership with Intelisum, to ensure the highest scanning quality, whilst minimizing risks and maximizing results.

With the purpose of providing superior hot work safety enclosures and services, STEP Oil & Gas joined forces with PetroHab, to make habitat solutions part of its portfolio. These solutions will be presented during the trade show.

STEP Oil & Gas has received the Welding Workshop Approval certification from DNV GL, for the Pipelines and Hull Structure applications, demonstrating STEP Oil & Gas customer focus and its commitment to quality. This ‘Type Approval’ gives further proof of comfort and safeguard to our clients regarding the quality of STEP Oil & Gas service and the robustness of our development and fabrication processes.

STEP Oil & Gas relocates offices in Brazil

Macaé, February 23rd, 2017 – International provider of high calibre personnel for operations, fabrication, repair and maintenance in various metal-associated, engineering projects within the global market, STEP Oil & Gas, has announced a change of location to new and improved facilities in Rio das Ostras, RJ, which will support its business and processes in the country.

STEP Oil & Gas has been delivering safe, efficient and cost effective solutions for global and local clients, thereby achieving a long term, mutually benefiting customer-client relationship.

These new premises with an area of 28.000 m2 (over 150K sq. ft.) within the industrial area inside the oil and gas cluster, at zone ZEN, ensuring proximity to the Macaé Port, allow for an increase of capacity and the range of services provided, ensuring an even more efficient logistics’ infrastructure.

“Based on our successful track record and growth in 2016, we are delighted to announce that we have moved our premises in Brazil and we are looking forward to develop operations at this brand new site, right in the center of the Oil & Gas Cluster of Macaé, helping our clients in facing their challenges and answering their immediate needs in the most efficient way” said Luís Duarte, Director of Operations at STEP Oil & Gas.

As part of the new features, STEP Oil & Gas capabilities will now also account for one workshop of 2500m2 covered area and 5ton overhead traveling gantry. Two future workshops dedicated for stainless steel / duplex work and surface treatment (including internal polyethylene pipe coating), as well as more services that will be integrated at a later stage.
